Why should I consider Osteopathy?

Manual osteopathy is beneficial for the whole family. It is a non-invasive and drug-free therapy to help restore the function of the nervous, circulatory and lymphatic system, alleviate pain and achieve overall health.
Why Do  I Wear an Osteopathic Treatment ?

Are osteopathy treatments painful?

osteopathy is a hands-on therapy, non-invasive and gentle. It is ideal for people with chronic pain and /or touch sensitivities.
Is osteopathy covered by my insurance plan?
Manual osteopathy for pain is covered by most private extended insurance plans. My treatments are covered by all the insurance Providers except Canada Life.
How often should I receive treatment?
The length of your treatment depends on multiple factors. During the initial appointment, the course of action for your individualized treatment plan will be determined.
Do I need a referral from my family doctor?
No, You don’t need a referral from your family doctor.
Do I need to be in pain to book an appointment?

Manual osteopathy can be a very important component of your overall wellness plan. Being proactive is the best option to maintain a healthy and strong mind and body. For example, Swimmers can better their strokes, when their joints are working in unison to avoid injuries and improve performance.
What is your cancellation policy?
Time is precious! I encourage you to reschedule your appointments instead of canceling them. In the case that you must cancel your appointment, I require 24-hour notice to avoid the no-show fee equivalent to 50% of the treatment fee. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

When would I see results?

During the first visit, most people experience improvements. The number of treatments depends on your unique condition. Treatment plans are tailored-made for each individual.
Are osteopathic treatments covered by OHIP?
OHIP does not cover osteopathic treatments. Most insurance companies do.




Is osteopathy compatible with other types of treatments?
Yes, manual osteopathy can complement well with other therapeutic approaches. In the treatment of certain conditions (ie. depression, anxiety, some chronic conditions), manual osteopaths may also make referrals to other health care practitioners like Naturopathic doctors, dietitian, Nutritionist, Registered Massage Therapist, MD or psychologists for additional support.
Is osteopathic treatment the same as chiropractor or Physio?
Osteopathy focuses on a holistic approach with emphasis on freeing the path of communication between the different systems of the body that will allow it to find balance and health.
